Celebrations for the third week in a row, as the 'City' achieved yet another fantastic result - this time against their near neighbours, Angus BA. 5 June 2010 - BON ACCORD 121 v 112 CITY OF DUNDEE BA - RESULT
The City of Dundee lost their first match of this seasons Andrew Hamilton Trophy series by the narrow margin of 9 shots. There were two changes to previously announced line-up with both David Briggs & Eddie Mason replacing John Mulholland & Roger Smith, who were unavailable. Once again, the 'City' started the game quickly and, had soon established a lead. They held that lead until Bon Accord managed to edge slightly ahead 65-64 at around the half-way stage. The 'City', as they had done throughout this campaign, managed to re-group & re-take the initiative. With the ends gradually reducing, Bon Accord were able to firstly, get on equal terms at 99 shots each then, move ahead by virtue of a strong finish by most of the home rinks, to win the game 121-112.
A disappointing result for the 'City', but one that still keeps them well in contention for at least a top two finish!
